Fawn Mckay
Fawn McKay Brodie was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. She was a member of the Mormon Church's original family Fawn McKay devoted her creative abilities in the field of literature and impressive research skills to creating the amazing psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945, entitled The Only Man is able to know My History. The title was taken from an 1844 funeral eulogy given by Joseph Smith. In it, he claimed: "You weren't acquainted with me, and you didn't know my heart. My history is not known to anyone. It is not possible for me to reveal it. Fawn an older woman, aged 29 wrote: "Since that moment of candor, at least three writers have taken on the task." Some have attacked him, some even deified him. While a small number have tried their luck at diagnosing him clinically. It's not so much that the documents are insufficient, but rather they are fiercely contradictory. The task is to distinguish accounts from the third hand plagiarism and to blend Mormon narratives with non-Mormons in a coherent history. This is exciting as well as instructive. Fawn brodie was professional and dedicated to this task. Thaddeus Stewards, the result of her research and writing, made her a world popular writer. Scourge Of The South (1959) The Devil Drives. The Story of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. A Personal History of Richard Nixon (1974), in posthumously.
