Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She also has produced films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into a middle-class household in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. A passion for film within her daughter was a skill that she learned from her mother, who also loved watching movies. Paula was active in her school's co-curricular activities and especially captivated by the dramatic arts. She enjoyed performing in stage productions along with her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to act throughout her schooling and she decided to pursue acting to pursue a career. In a summer program in the University of Southern California, she was awe-inspiring there. She won a PBS project for three months to shoot documentaries. The first assignment was to be an assistant to production for TV documentaries, after completing her project. After that, she started producing documentaries. Though she loved her job but she always dreamed of being an actor. Her career in acting started with minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she has been in a variety of popular films as well as TV series.
