StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican American actress. Her breakthrough role was in Miss Bala (2011), a Mexican crime drama film. She has gone on to be seen in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015), Going Under (2016), and Annabelle: Creation (2017). In the television world, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both series. Sigman was born to her Mexican mom and an American father, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. She is an U.S. citizen through her father. [2][3][4] She's a U.S. citizen by virtue of her father. His brother was a professional baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman married actress Barbara Mori Sigman. Before making her film debut in Rio de Oro, she made her debut as a Mexican TV actor. She played the role of Laura Guerrero, the lead in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime-drama film. [6] The film was selected as the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8However, it was not included in the final list.
