
Colleen Mae Ballinger (born on November 21 in 1986) is an American comedian actor, YouTuber, singer , and writer. She is best known for her Internet character Miranda Sings, posting videos of the character on YouTube and performing her one-woman comedy show on tour in theaters across the world, and making and starring in a Netflix original series called Haters Back Off (2016-2017) about the character. Ballinger developed the jolly eccentric, egotistical and incompetent character to mock the numerous YouTube videos of people singing poorly as a way to gain entry into the show industry. Together her YouTube channels have garnered more than 5 billion views. Miranda Sings has over 10 million subscribers, and she has over 6 million Instagram followers. Ballinger was honored with an Teen Choice Award for Web Star: Comedy and the Streamy Award for Best Actress. 4 She was cited by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the Top 25 Digital Stars and ranked number. Forbes magazine's top entertainment influencers list put her at the top of the list. Ballinger has been an actor and a singer on film, television recording, television as well as online series.
